Digital work portfolios

At one level a digital work portfolio can be simply a store of files, but portfolios will increasingly come to be used for formative and summative assessment, which have additional requirements. It is desirable that portfolios of work can follow students when they change school and that they become accessible to potential employers when students transition into work. These aspects raise a considerable range of issues including such matter as data ownership, privacy and security.
