Access & security

Attending a school or college used to be a privilege and gave one privileged access to education and learning. In the future, the online communities to which students have access will open or close learning opportunities. Even within these communities, copyright may introduce further restrictions. The security issue has to be considered both ways; how can systems be made sufficiently secure to ensure to guarantee access, and to deny access to those that should have it.
