Curriculum
ICT
is changing the world and society. It follows that school curricula
should also change to reflect the
changing world that young people will inhabit. But curricula have
been established over the years through the inter-play of what historically
it has been most important to experience and learn and pressure from
groups that wish to see new elements introduced. However the key
changes introduced into the world by ICT are hardly being considered;
ICT makes it much easier to work collaboratively and to have just-in-time
access to knowledge. School/college curricula should surely respond
to this? |
